A heartfelt thank you to our hosts 🙏🇹🇭
Such a week requires quite an effort, and we owe the success of Leg 1 to our incredible hosts.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the Thailand Equestrian Federation (TEF) and Thai Polo Equestrian Club. Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Harald Link, the TEF has set a gold standard for organisation and regional development. Your commitment to the "Next Gen" of equestrian talent is truly inspiring.
Thank you for opening your world-class facilities to our Academy!
Thank you very much to Cha-om Ketusingha and his team Angie Aschwanden, Davin Sudhirak! From the first day of camp to the final fence of the CSIY, your hospitality and professionalism provided the perfect environment for our rising stars to thrive.

Thank you, a thousand times to the teaching team Alice Mak, Thibault Toofan Tobari, Dr Prawit Archanai Butudom and Sky Woraphat Sittiju for sharing their knowledge and dedicating their time, so our riders become better horsemen and horsewomen.

Thank you to FEI Group VIII, FEI Solidarity, B. Grimm, Lami-Cell, Harcour and FLAIR Equine Nasal Strips without whom this Academy would not have been possible.

APRA 2026 Day 4 (27/02/2026)

Last day of training before the show for our riders! 💪

The day started with a horse care workshop led by Dr. Prawit Butudom where they went over the FEI horse inspection regulations in preparation for the trot up. 🩺

Right after, they had a practice trot up with Sky Woraphat Sittiju and Thibault Toofan before heading to the inspection. 🏃‍♂️

The day ended with some light flat work in one of Thai Polo Equestrian Club 's beautiful polo fields to get the horses moving before the show. ☀️

APRA 2026 Day 3 (26/02/2026)

Our APRA riders had their last jumping session before the show, where they practiced their lines, turns, and rythme. 🐴

They also benefited from two insightful workshops.
With Woraphat Sittiju, they learned how to braid their horse's main and tail.
And with Alice Mak, they discovered the FEI's rules and etiquette in preparation for this weekend. 🙌

APRA 2026 Day 1 (24/02/2026)
Welcoming the future of equestrian excellence!

The journey begins as we are officially kicking off Leg 1 of the FEI Group VIII Asia Pacific Rising Star Academy (APRA) at the magnificent Thai Polo Equestrian Club in Pattaya, Thailand.
Over the next few days, talented young riders from 11 nations will embark on an intensive journey of clinics, workshops, and competition🏇🌏.

The Asia Pacific Rising Star Academy is a strategic high-performance development program designed to bridge the gap between national competition and the international stage. Supported by FEI Solidarity, it focuses on:
🐴 Elite training: intensive clinics on technical riding and horse welfare.
🐴 Holistic growth: workshops on mental performance, clean sport, FEI rules and etiquette, athlete fitness.
🐴 Capacity building: providing regional officials with opportunities to gain vital practical experience.

APRA is also about building lifelong friendships 👭👬
Beyond the jumps and the scores, APRA is a place where boundaries disappear. One of our missions is to build lasting friendships between young riders from across the Asia Pacific. By training, learning, and dining together, these athletes are building a supportive regional network that will follow them throughout their careers.
A special thank you to our organisers 🙏🇹🇭
Our deepest gratitude goes to the Thailand Equestrian Federation (TEF) for their vision and flawless organisation. Under the leadership of Dr. Harald Link, the TEF has provided a world-class platform that allows these young riders to learn, grow, and compete at the highest technical standards.
Thank you for investing in the future of our sport and giving these rising stars a place to shine 💫!
