This event will be a sponsored multi class speed challenge, where Motor Boats up to 15 Meters, will be invited to make two timed runs, over a 1 kilometer course to become the fastest boat in their category. The main attraction will be an unlimited class to reach near or surpass the target speed of 150 knots and the title prize of;
“The Fastest Boat in Thailand”
In addition to straight-line sp
eed challenges there will be circuit races where boats compete head to head and also in a multi class format. It is proposed that the Phang Nga Bay Speed Challenge takes place, in Phuket possibly in conjunction with an existing Marine Leisure Event.
