You may know this feeling from any line of work: one shift outside your control can change the whole plan.
In Thailand, many coconut farmers rely on coconuts as their main source of income. When prices shift, rain comes late, or the soil weakens, the risk does not stay in the field. It reaches the kitchen, school fees, and next month’s bills. That is why regenerative farming matters here. Crops between the coconut trees, cover crops, beehives, organic inputs, and healthier soil can give a farm more than one thing to lean on.
This kind of change takes patience. It grows through farmers, businesses, and agriculture experts learning together, season after season, until the farm becomes less fragile.

Bangkok Climate Action Week 2026 is ready to unveil its full program.
From 3-11 October 2026, BKKCAW will bring climate leaders, policymakers, businesses, artists, youth, communities, and the wider public together for Southeast Asia’s biggest climate action moment.
Held under the theme “Rao Likit: Economy We Shape, Climate We Share,” this year’s program turns Bangkok into a platform for climate action across the city, with nine days of talks, exhibitions, policy dialogues, youth activities, cultural performances, concerts, public learning spaces, and partner-led events.
From nature, clean air, energy, finance, and business to food systems, culture, creativity, and the future economy, the program is designed for people to enter climate action through the issues they care about most.

แค่แบตหมดก็น่าหงุดหงิดแล้ว ลองจินตนาสิว่า ถ้าคุณต้องนั่งเรือไปชาร์จแบตทุกวันจะเป็นยังไง

ในชุมชนสติง โกรฟ ชุมชนริมน้ำโตนเลสบาบ ซึ่งเป็นทะเลสาบในกัมพูชา บางครัวเรือนเคยต้องนั่งเรือไปชาร์จแบตเตอรี่มาเก็บไว้ใช้ในแต่ละวัน เพราะหมู่บ้านอยู่ห่างจากสายส่งไฟฟ้า โครงการ solar mesh-grid ได้ช่วยต่อไฟฟ้าให้เข้าถึง 81 ครัวเรือน การเปลี่ยนแปลงนี้ไม่ได้เกิดแค่จากการเอาแผงโซลาร์ไปติดในชุมชนอย่างเดียว แต่มันเกิดขึ้นได้จากความร่วมมือของผู้คนที่เข้าใจพื้นที่ เทคโนโลยีที่สอดคล้องกับภูมิประเทศ ทีมท้องถิ่น และพาร์ตเนอร์ที่พร้อมลองแก้ปัญหาด้วยวิธีใหม่

If you think a dead battery is annoying, imagine a daily boat trip to charge one.
In Steung Chrov, a community on Cambodia’s Tonle Sap Lake, some households used to travel by boat just to charge batteries for the day, as the village sits far from the national grid. But recently, a solar mesh-grid project helped bring electricity closer to 81 households. That shift took more than panels. It needed people who understood the place, technology that could work with the landscape, local teams, and partners willing to try something different.
When access is difficult, solutions have to travel through many hands. BKKCAW wants to help keep this kind of work connected throughout the year, bringing together people, tools, ideas, and partnerships before they gather in October.
