Drum Prodigy Singapore is deeply honoured to receive the raiSE Verified Leading Social Enterprise 2025 award, placing us among the top 17 social enterprises in Singapore. Receiving this recognition from the President of Singapore, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, is especially meaningful as we mark our 10th anniversary this year!

When we opened our doors in 2017 as Singapore’s first inclusive drum school, we set out with a simple but bold mission - To make inclusive arts a reality. We wanted to build a school where people with and without disabilities could access quality drum education and meaningful performing opportunities together, without barriers or discrimination.

The journey was not without challenges, but the vision continued to grow. Beyond teaching and performances, our work also led to creating meaningful employment opportunities for persons with disabilities within our school, allowing them to contribute their talents and skills as part of our team.

This recognition, which follows a rigorous verification process by RAISE SG, affirms that the Drum Prodigy framework for inclusive arts education is working, creating real and measurable impact on the communities we serve. Inclusion is not a programme or a one time effort. It is a daily practice shaped through empathy, trust, and patience.
