This year, we want to play our part in celebrating Singapore’s Golden Jubilee and of its 50 years as a young, vibrant and successful nation. Approved by the government to represent the nation through dance, we are bringing opportunities for Singaporeans of all ages to participate in flash mobs.
This events aims to encourage everyone, especially locals, to bond, exercise and have fun through specially designed dance classes and flash mobs. We will be holding flash mob style performances where participants from all walks of life would be dancing to music familiar to all Singaporeans such as Stand up for Singapore, Chan Mali Chan and Home. The events will be held at Gardens by the Bay on 8th August, Far East Plaza on 15th August and the Singapore Flyer on 23rd August. Participants do not need any dance background as the dance is suitable for people of all ages. In addition, you get more than one chance to perform the flash mob in the month of August! Through the classes and the mobs itself, we want to bring the community together – bonding bosses with their employees, bringing families closer together and also introducing a new fun activity for students and teachers alike for school, etc. So come join us in a new fun-filled activity, sweat it out, reminisce with nostalgic and familiar Singapore songs, and at the same time bond with family and friends by being part of this celebratory project!
