Closing with TOP GUN (1986) in 4K – Tonight Only

It’s the final screening of the year for Glenfiddich Films At The Fort, and we’re going out in style.

Think pure ‘80s energy, sun-soaked bravado, romance, rivalry, and high-octane action - TOP GUN, the original, flying high in 4K for the first time ever in Singapore.

This is more than a movie — it’s a pop culture icon: part action thriller, part melodrama, part music video, and 100% attitude. Cheesy in all the right ways, unforgettable from the first guitar riff.

When that iconic opening track hits, you’ll instantly know: this is the best way to end your weekend. Tix via link in bio (unless sold out).

Join us tonight for arguably one of the greatest films ever made. 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY is a monumental cinematic experience and it’s screening in 4K for the first time in Singapore at Glenfiddich Films At The Fort.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then 2001: A Space Odyssey feels like the entire history of cinema collected into one jaw-dropping 148-minute visual masterpiece.

It’s almost impossible to believe this film was made in 1968. Stanley Kubrick’s meticulous direction strips away traditional narrative and dialogue, allowing the film’s vast scale, haunting beauty, and ethereal atmosphere to speak volumes on their own. The result is a powerful, immersive journey that unfolds more through image and tone than plot, making it feel at once alien and deeply human.

Visually, it’s hard to believe that this film was created almost 60 years ago. Even more striking today is how prescient the film feels in light of current developments in AI and space exploration. Its portrayal of HAL 9000—a calm, intelligent machine that ultimately turns on its human companions—remains one of the most chilling and relevant depictions of artificial intelligence in cinema.

As we navigate a world increasingly shaped by advanced technology and grapple with the ethical and existential questions it raises, 2001’s exploration of human evolution, machine consciousness, and our place in the universe feels more vital and prophetic than ever.

Join us tonight for a film that’s not just a classic — it’s eerily relevant. Gates open at 5:30pm and happy hour runs until 6:30pm.

It’s almost the weekend – and what better way to kick it off than with a killer night at Glenfiddich Films At The Fort?

Tonight, catch DROP, a sharp, stylish thriller that turns a simple first date into a nail-biting game of survival.

DROP premiered at SXSW to reviews, including “It’s a crowd pleaser. It’s the kind of movie that grabs you from the opening scene and doesn’t let go, like a rollercoaster with no brakes.”
