Trans Gaspesia Trans Gaspesia is a 6 stage - 7 days, self supported foot race of 260km, across the Gaspe Peninsula, an immense territory of sea, islands and mountains.

La Trans Gaspesia est la première course à pied à étapes en automomie au Canada. La première édition se tiendra en Gaspésie du 3-9 août 2014. Elle est ouverte à tous coureurs ou marcheurs. Trans Gaspesia is the first and only self supported stage foot race in Canada. It will take place on August 3-9 2014 in Gaspe, Quebec, Canada. The race is open to runners and walkers of all abilities.

The runners battled moose, foxes, porcupines, bears (many) and came unscathed....that is until the last stage when a swarm of bees attacked. Few walked away without stings, with Salvador getting the worse of it.
