We are delighted to have Team Lions Home For The Elders join us for the very first time at Relay SG60 – 60 teams, 600km, 60 hours, commemorating SG60.

Established in 1980 by the Lions Clubs of Singapore, Lions Home for the Elders has grown from a humble community home into one of Singapore’s leading eldercare service providers. Today, it operates two nursing homes in Bishan and Bedok South, providing care and support for up to 384 residents.

Six dedicated staff braved the heat and crossed the finish line with pride, cheered on by Lions Home leaders and supporters. 💪

Thank you Lions Home for embodying the spirit that every step makes a difference! 🙌

As the sun dipped over Marina Bay, the final team — a spirited mix of runners and volunteers who had supported every leg of the journey — crossed the finish line, marking the completion of an extraordinary 60-hour, 600-kilometre journey around Singapore. This final team embodied the true essence of Relay SG60: unity, endurance, and community spirit.

The atmosphere at the MBS Event Plaza was electric as Minister Masagos Zulkifli arrived to join the celebrations. The stage came alive with heartfelt acknowledgements, a final run, and a powerful show of unity from partners and participants.

Tokens of appreciation were presented to honour those who made this ground-up movement possible — the dedicated organizers from Li Foundation and Zephyr Running Club, the generous sponsors whose support made the journey feasible, and the invaluable partners who rallied behind the cause.

Before long, Minister Masagos and the welcome party led the way to the Heartstrings Walk flag-off. It was a moving close to a deeply meaningful event — one that united people from all walks of life to run, give, and celebrate Singapore’s 60th birthday with purpose. Relay SG60 has officially crossed the finish line, but its spirit will continue to inspire.
