SEA Boulder League 2026 Round 3 at bhive Makati comes to a close after a night that had everything: huge moments, heartbreaks, pressure, surprises, and emotions that spilled far beyond the wall ⚡️

Some walked away with podiums, some with lessons, and some with memories they’ll carry long after this weekend. But together, they created the final chapter of this season here in the Philippines 🇵🇭

Thank you to the athletes, organisers, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and every single person who brought energy into this space over the past two days. SEA Boulder League has always been about exactly this: the sport, the community, and the shared belief that Southeast Asia deserves something special of its own 💙❤️💛

Round 3 may mark the end of the season, but this movement is still growing. More to come 🔥

Day 1 of SEA Boulder League 2026 Round 3 at bhive is done, and all of you absolutely showed up 🇵🇭

Big swings, wild breakthroughs… and somehow we’re only halfway through the weekend. Yesterday was where climbers fought to stay in the game. Today is where the round gets decided.

Finals are next. The energy’s building. The season’s about to hit its last chapter.

By the end of this conversation, we had learnt a few things: John loves beer, Filipino climbers really like flashy climbs, and Alina is fully prepared to push her fellow female climbers not to play it safe!

The conversation also touched on how being a female setter contributes to diversity in route setting. For Alina, having female setters in the team helps challenge the tendency to default to “safe” movement for women’s climbs. Good setters want to challenge climbers in ways that help them discover what they’re actually capable of, because that’s how climbers grow, improve, and sometimes surprise even themselves. That’s also why different climbing styles, body types, backgrounds, experiences, and ways of seeing movement matter in a setting team. Being “female” is just one component of that diversity. And fortunately, the setting team we have for SEA Boulder League 2026 Round 3 is exactly that, bringing together experiences and perspectives from different countries across the region and beyond.

Of course, by the end of it all, the conversation somehow circled back to what everyone was really looking forward to: Sunday’s after party… which also happens to be Alina’s birthday 🎂 If you see her this weekend at bhive, don’t forget to wish her a happy birthday or drop a “Happy Birthday Alina!” in the comments below 👇

The climbing level stayed high, and so did the energy around it. Thank you to the athletes who gave everything on the wall, the organizers and volunteers who kept things running behind the scenes, and the partners and sponsors who backed this round; each of you shaped what this event became because ultimately this is what the circuit is meant to be: we may be from different countries but we are all from one SEA community coming together through climbing 💛💙❤️
