🏅Discover the next generation of architectural talent via the Student Charette Prize at !

After an incredible array of submissions from architecture schools around the world, we are delighted to reveal the eight shortlisted teams selected by our judges.

This year teams were invited to submit ideas for buildings or programmes where water is essential to the design idea – this could be how water might be used in a building or complex, how a proposal might respond to a water-related condition, or a proposal of regeneration or reclamation involving water.

The eight shortlisted teams will now compete live at the Festival in Fort Lauderdale this November, presenting their designs to some of the world's most influential architects and designers – our warmest congratulations to the shortlisted teams:

Columbia University
Institute of Architecture and Planning, Nirma University
Università Iuav di Venezia
Kingston University
MIU City University Miami
