The Land Bank of the Philippines and the National Union of Bank Employees–Insurance and Finance Organization/Payatas Training and Livelihood Center have sealed a partnership to repurpose decommissioned bank uniforms into livelihood products for Payatas communities.

We stand with workers at Evolution Gaming in Georgia who are on strike today to demand better wages, benefits and dignity at work.

The strike comes after a 21-day mediation process ended without resolution on 25 June

The strike is being led by UNI Global Union Georgian affiliate, Labor, which organizes online dealers and game presenters through EVO-Union ევო-კავშირი

"We stand with our members in their fight for fair treatment and better working conditions," said Giedre Lelyte, Head of the Gaming at UNI. "This collective action signifies a strong and unified front against the issues they face. It is imperative that Evolution Gaming stops stalling and engages in meaningful dialogue to resolve these issues as soon as possible."

【The Great Japan Printing Group is holding an English seminar! 】

On July 4, the Great Japan Printing Group held an English seminar, and Veronica Fernandez Mendez, UNI Opportunity Management Director, participated as a lecturer, among four others who attended the UNI-LCJ Youth English Seminar as a resource person. UNI Apro Women's Commissioner, Chairman of the Mitsubanki, and Permanent Executive Commissioner Suzuki, conducted the seminar as facilitator, and the office participated as support.

When I announced this seminar was held, I heard there was a lot of applications that I expected. Participants actively communicated in English, including exchanging opinions on how they work, introducing Japanese recommendations to lecturers to group work, etc.

Not afraid to make mistakes, show receptive affection towards others, enjoy each other's differences... The seminar that not only challenged communication in English, but also took care of this concept was very impressive.

Michelle Bellino, UNI Apro Media Director, who came to Japan as a lecturer at the UNI-LCJ Youth English Seminar (June 30th~7/2nd, held in Hiroshima), came to Japan on the morning of July 3rd after the seminar as a lecturer, along with Malta Ochoa, UNI World Youth Committee Director and Josh Grajo, NUBE Payatus Vocational Training Center Project Director, visited Nippon, and exchanged information with Yamash*ta Central Bank Commissioner and Morita Central Bank Commissioner. [UNI-LCJ Youth and Women Opinion Exchange Meeting held! Members of the UNI-LCJ 6 affiliated organizations are in! 】

On the afternoon of July 3, the UNI-LCJ Youth and Women's Opinion Exchange Meeting was held in the All Dentsu Labor Union conference room (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo). UNI-LCJ holds its annual network meeting as a place for communication and information exchange between youth and women officers of UNI-LCj affiliated organizations, based on the 5th Action Plan. This year, three lecturers (Director of the Malta UNI World Youth Committee, Michelle UNI Apro Youth Committee and the UNI-LCJ Youth English Language Seminar (to be held in Hiroshima on June 30th ~ July 2nd) took part in Japan for the UNI World Youth Commission, Michelle UNI-Apro Youth Committee and Equal Opportunity Committee, and Josh NUBE Payatus, who introduced youth and women's activities abroad, and had an exchange meeting with youth and women officers who participated from UNI -LCJ affiliated organizations.

Young and female officers from the UNI-LCJ Affiliated Organization, Printing Union, Information Union, UA Zensen, Oai Japan Printing Union, Nippon Radio, and JP Association participated.
　
After the end, we held a social gathering over pizza, and we exchanged information on the participants' self-introduction and what each organization is doing to strengthen our relationships.

【DAY3 & Summary: UNI-LCJ Youth English Seminar @ Hiroshima】
They were divided into 3 groups and made a 'Final Presentation' according to their chosen theme.
We all voted which group was the best and the award ceremony was held.
At the closing time, we all watched the "Memories of Hiroshima" video by the "SHIME" team.
Thank you 23 Japanese participants and 4 resource persons!
And thank you, Hiroshima! We'll meet again someday!
Divided into 3 groups, each group gave a "final presentation" on their chosen theme.
Everyone voted on which group was the best, and an award ceremony was held.
At the closing ceremony, everyone watched the "Memories of Hiroshima" video by the "SHIME" team.
Thank you to the 23 Japanese participants and 4 resource persons!
And thank you Hiroshima!　See you again someday!

【DAY2: UNI-LCJ Youth English Seminar @ Hiroshima】
Today, July 1st, the morning activity team learned about the importance of exercise, organization, peace and democracy, and in the afternoon we toured the Peace Memorial Park in the rain listening to volunteer guides commentary.
After dinner, each group is working hard to prepare for tomorrow's main event "Final Presentation".
Today, July 1, we had a exercise by ASA-KATSU (morning activity) team, and we learned about the importance of organizing, peace and democracy, and in the afternoon we toured the rainy Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park while listening to the commentary of the Hiroshima Peace Volunteer Guide.
After dinner, each group is working diligently to prepare for tomorrow's main event, the Final Presentation.
