OUR PHILOSOPHY

1) INTEGRITY
One individual’s actions reflect the whole and no individual is above the game. In essence, we exemplify respect, humility, generosity, courtesy and fair play in each activity we undertake. Regardless of who is watching or what situation we find ourselves in, the fundamentals of sportsmanship direct our behaviour.

2) INCLUSIVITY
Representivity and participation are at the forefront of our activities. We commit to ensuring that all players are given fair chance to participate and develop irrespective of race, class, gender or orientation. Everyone has worth in water polo, every child should play.

3) FAMILY
Support and belonging are the cornerstones of our system. This is a place where the ambitious, the resilient and the humble can find like-minded people. Where collaboration enables us to exceed the capabilities of a single person. Most importantly, where meaningful relationships can be cultivated, lasting long after the final whistle has been blown.

4) PERFORMANCE
Performance is the focus on executing individual and team goals at maximum ability. It consists of effort, determination, patience, and sacrifice. To execute every action as well as possible, this value is process oriented and reflects our desire for continuous improvement. In return, it cultivates confidence, responsibility, and achievement.

Champions — but today was about so much more than the result. 💙💛

A fantastic day in the pool for our 12U team as they came together, competed with big smiles and, most importantly, had fun as a team. 🤽‍♂️🤽‍♀️

Yes, the team came away as CHAMPIONS, but the real victory was seeing the athletes support one another, communicate, encourage their teammates and enjoy every moment in the water.

From the first whistle to the final game, the team showed great energy, teamwork and sportsmanship. These are the experiences that build friendships, confidence and a stronger team culture. 💪

Congratulations, 12U! 🏆

Be proud of the result, but be even prouder of the way you played together.

A big thank you to all the parents for your support and encouragement throughout the day! 🙌

🏆 Pesta Sukan 2026 – A Journey of Growth 💙🤽‍♂️

The curtains have closed on the Pesta Sukan 2026 Water Polo Competition, and we’re proud of the effort and commitment shown by every athlete who represented 28 Degrees Water Polo Club.

🥈 15U – 1st Runner-up
🥈 12U – 1st Runner-up
🏅 10U – 4th Place

While we’re proud of these achievements, we know we’re capable of more. There is naturally some disappointment in not reaching the top of the podium, but that’s part of competitive sport. Every match, every challenge, and every setback is an opportunity to learn and grow.

To our athletes, thank you for your determination, resilience, and the way you fought for one another throughout the tournament. You represented the club with passion and heart, and that’s something to be proud of.

But this is not where our story ends.

The real work starts now.

We’ll return to training with renewed purpose, identify our weaknesses, sharpen our strengths, and continue building towards a brighter future. Success isn’t defined by a single tournament—it’s built through consistency, discipline, and the willingness to improve every single day.

A huge thank you to our coaches, parents, volunteers, and supporters for standing by our teams throughout the competition. Your encouragement means more than you know.

Today, our 10U, 12U & 15U teams proudly represent 28 Degrees Water Polo Club at the Pesta Sukan Water Polo Competition! 🤽‍♂️💙

Behind every match is months of dedication, challenging training sessions, and countless hours spent growing together as a team. Today is the day our athletes get to showcase their hard work, resilience, and love for the sport.
