21.12, Sunday, 11:45AM — 1:15PM
[Workshop] There is a Little Boy inside my Body

This workshop is developed from Chun Wai's recent creation , a dance work around improvisation.

He imagines the process of a baby learning to stand from crawling as something filled with joy, because of the change in perspective, the shift of balance, and the experience of sensations the body has never felt before. These new sensations allow the body to fall and rise again and again, until it stands.

In this workshop, he will begin from this work, sharing the improvisational methods and bodily perspectives that have emerged from it. Finally, you will complete a short structured improvisation together.

This class will be conducted mainly in Chinese. A mix of English and Chinese will be used.

21.12, Sunday, 10AM — 11:30AM
[Class] Saya. Rasa

This class focuses on developing sensitivity and awareness through improvisation. Grounded in street dance language, participants will explore how to react and respond to impulses within music — treating rhythm, sound, and silence as stimuli for movement.

Building on these explorations, the class will progress into learning choreography, where dancers apply their improvisational discoveries to structured sequences. This helps strengthen musicality, spatial awareness, and personal expression.

17.12, Wednesday, 7:30PM — 10PM
[Workshop] Exploring Dance as a Medium for Social Commentary by Benedict Soh

This workshop engages creative methods for turning imagined images and emotions into experiences we can sense and understand through the body.

Building from this embodied awareness, we will examine how dance can serve as a form of dissent and a catalyst for social change. Participants will explore ways to create choreographic works that courageously engage with complex and challenging themes such as trauma, addiction, conflict, consciousness, and mortality.
