The II International Festival of youth theatres “GingerTheatreFest” will take place in Tula (Russia) from 18 to 22 of September, 2020. The festival is organized by Tula City Concert Hall and studio theatre “Muesli” (director - Liudmila Katsero).
Tula is a beautiful city, one of the ancient and historically important Russian cities, located in 180km from Moscow (2 hours by car). It has an unforgettable image of typical city of Central Russia with its ancient fortress Kremlin, golden-headed churches, picturesque waterfront of Upa river and lovely countryside which wasa home for many people of arts: world-famous writer Leo Tolstoy was born in Yasnaya Polyana manor in Tula region, and famous artist Vasily Polenov had his family estate Polenovo in Tula region, too.
Hopefully, the Festival helps to make Tulaa theatrical city as well, and the city becomes a center of international creative activity for years to come.
The Festival is named “GingerTheatreFest” because of world-famous Russian gingerbread Tula is famous for. Come to our city and taste Russian hospitality!
