🌟 Military discipline and legal insight: He combined the strictness of the Vienna Military Academy with the knowledge of the Budapest Law Faculty. He was not afraid of hard work: as deputy lord-lieutenant and later lord-lieutenant, he took the "lion's share" of every task.
🏗️ A builder, not just a leader: His name is linked to the construction of the tourist path in the Turda Gorge and the flourishing of Târnăveni (Dicsőszentmárton). He built hospitals, schools, railways, and public buildings, while establishing peace between different nationalities.
🌲 The living signature: Legend and reality intertwine here. He planted a mixed forest on the hillside above Târnăveni, with a unique feature: when viewed from a distance, the Scots pines still form a giant S and J monogram to this day.
