✨ TEXPOART 2026 – ORDER AND CHAOS ✨
7th International Triennial of Textile Art

The International Triennial of Textile Art – TexpoART 2026 returns to Iași with its 7th edition, bringing together 101 artists from 27 countries in a large-scale international exhibition dedicated to contemporary textile art.

This year’s theme, “Order and Chaos”, invites audiences to explore the relationship between structure, balance, spontaneity and transformation through diverse artistic approaches and textile practices.

The exhibition will be hosted in three cultural venues across Iași:

▪️ International Center of Contemporary Art
(Arhitect G.M. Cantacuzino Street, no. 16)

TexpoART 2026 celebrates the diversity of contemporary textile art and creates a platform for artistic dialogue, cultural exchange and creative experimentation in an international context.

We warmly invite artists, students, curators, researchers, art professionals and all art lovers to join us for this special event in Iași.

🌍 TexpoART is an international platform for artistic dialogue – the previous edition brought together 96 artists from 22 countries. Now it’s your turn to be part of this creative community!

🌍 TexpoART este o platformă internațională de dialog artistic – ediția trecută a reunit 96 de artiști din 22 de țări. Acum este rândul vostru să faceți parte din această comunitate creativă!

🧵 Sunt acceptate:
✔️ toate tehnicile textile

Ne face plăcere să vă invităm să participați la a 7-a ediție a Trienalei Internaționale de Artă Textilă TexpoART 2026

Tema Trienalei Internaționale de Artă Textilă TexpoART 2026 este ORDINE ȘI HAOS și propune artiștilor să dezvolte cu mijloacele artelor textile relația dinamică, antagonică a acestor concepte. În artă, ordinea se identifică adesea cu claritatea compozițională, cu armonia cromatică, cu rigoarea execuției, dar poate părea banală și plictisitoare; prin contrast haosul apare ca perturbator de reguli, neliniștitor, dar expresiv și cu potențial de a deschide noi abordări. În funcție de ceea ce-și propune fiecare artist, pot rezulta lucrări care să trateze unul, altul sau ambele concepte, aplicate la universul interior, la natură ori la viața socială. Tema incită la meditație filosofică și, de ce nu, la noi experimente.
La TexpoART 2026 - ORDINE ȘI HAOS pot participa profesioniști și studenți masteranzi în domeniul Artelor textile cu lucrări realizate în ultimii 3 ani, de dimensiuni medii.
Sunt acceptate orice tehnici textile și orice materiale, tradiționale sau neconvenționale, cu ajutorul cărora artiștii să configureze propria interpretare a ideii de ORDINE ȘI HAOS în formulă contemporană.

Trienala Internaţională de Artă Textilă „TexpoART” este patronată de Universitatea Națională de Arte „George Enescu” și Uniunea Artiștilor Plastici din România și se va desfășura în perioada 10 – 30 IUNIE 2026 în Galeriile de Artă ale U.A.P.R. filiala Iași (https://uapriasi.ro/galerii/) și la Galeria „Aparte” U.N.A.G.E. Iași (https://aparte.arteiasi.ro/).

We are pleased to invite you to participate at the 7th edition of The Textile Art International Triennial TexpoART 2026

The event aims, as in its previous editions, to offer artists an opportunity to exhibit their artworks, without the inherent hierarchy implied by any prize award.
The theme of the TexpoART 2026 Textile Art International Triennial is ORDER AND CHAOS, and proposes to artists to develop the dynamic, antagonistic relationship of these concepts with the means of textile arts. In art, order is often identified with a clear composition, chromatic harmony, and perfect ex*****on, but it can seem banal and boring. By contrast, chaos appears as a disruptor of rules, unsettling, yet expressive and with the potential to open up new opportunities.
TexpoART 2026 International Textile Art Triennial is ORDER AND CHAOS, is open to professionals and master students in the field of Textile Arts with art works of medium size, made in the last 3 years.
Any textile techniques and any materials, traditional or unconventional, with witch the artists can configure their own interpretation of the idea of the theme ORDER AND CHAOS in a contemporary formula are accepted.

CALENDAR:

Registration deadline: 15 MARCH – 1 APRIL 2026
The results of the selection: 22 APRIL 2026
The period for sending the works: 22 APRIL – 15 MAY2026
Exhibition period: 10 JUNE – 30 JUNE 2026
Reshipment of the works period: 1 JULY – 20 JULY 2026
