The sixth category of TIGF 2026 brought together guitarists of different ages and backgrounds, united by their passion for the classical guitar.

We were delighted by the high level of the competition, as well as the musicality, individuality, and dedication shown by all participants.

With no age limit, this category was a wonderful celebration of music across generations.

Congratulations to all the participants, and thank you for sharing your music with us!

What a beautiful way to bring the concert series to a close! The final evening of TIGF was filled with music, emotion, and outstanding artistry, with performances by Teodor Radev, Pavle Filipović, and Danijel Cerović.
It was an evening of remarkable musicianship, expressive interpretations, and unforgettable moments shared through the sound of the classical guitar. Each artist brought something unique to the stage, creating a wonderful finale to our concert series.
We are deeply grateful to our wonderful artists and to everyone who joined us throughout these four evenings and made each concert so special!

Day 3 of the Transilvania International Guitar Festival (TIGF) brought another evening dedicated to the beauty and diversity of classical guitar.
Victor Bojor, Erhan Mujka, and Luis Alejandro García took the stage, offering the audience an evening full of musical color, expression, and memorable moments. Each performance added a distinct character to the festival and highlighted once again the richness of the classical guitar repertoire.

Day 2 of the Transilvania International Guitar Festival (TIGF) brought another beautiful evening of classical guitar and inspiring performances.
The audience enjoyed captivating recitals by Maria Tiron, Samuel Duciuc, and Julia Trintschuk, who each shared their artistry, musical sensitivity, and passion for the classical guitar with the audience.
Another memorable evening at the festival, filled with beautiful sounds, emotion, and moments to remember.

A special part of this year’s festival was our series of guitar masterclasses, offering participants the opportunity to work closely with experienced and inspiring guest professors from Romania and abroad. Through individual lessons, participants explored different approaches to technique, interpretation, musical expression, and performance, gaining new perspectives and valuable insights into their musical development.

It was a true privilege to welcome such distinguished artists from the international guitar community to our stage and classrooms. We are especially grateful to: Danijel Cerović, Erhan Mujka, Julia Trintschuk, Luis Alejandro García,Nikolay Mihaylov, Pavle Filipović and Samuel Duciuc.

The results of the "Dumitru Capoianu" Competition, VI Category, are in!

We are proud to announce that the Winner of the 24th edition of the Transilvania International Guitar Festival is young guitarist Francesca Riva!

Francesca’s prize includes €2,000 and the Artistic Trophy, specially crafted for this event by renowned sculptor Ovidiu Guleș. She has also been invited to perform in a recital at TIGF 2026!

The prizes of the "Dumitru Capoianu" Competition, VI Category, are:

Second Prize: Siena Vușcan

Third Prize: Gabriel-Bogdan Ștefan

”Dumitru Capoianu” Prize for the interpretation of a contemporary work: Siena Vuşcan
”Mihai Babii” Prize for the interpretation of a classical work: Gabriel-Bogdan Ștefan
