Respectivul concept a luat naștere din dorința de a oferi iubitorilor de rock din România un festival dedicat lor. Entuziasmul și energia publicului țintă au avut ca efect organizarea We Are Rocking the Cluj City anual, adunând toți fanii acestui gen muzical din țară în inima Transilvaniei pentru a se bucura împreună de melodiile trupelor românești.
