For the first time, we had a parent-friendly conference, which offered activities for participants' children (thank you Planul de Egalitate de Gen - UniBuc) and an entire day dedicated to doctoral studentsโ presentations. We had in total three days of SWIC 2025 filled with keynote speeches, parallel sessions with oral presentations, workshops, and poster presentations, both in person and online.
The conference sessions were divided based on the following areas of interest:
ยญ โSocial work responses to inequalities, poverty, and systemic marginalization in times of change
ยญ โChild welfare, aging populations, and intergenerational support systems
ยญ โSocial work responses to climate justice and eco-social work
ยญ โSocial work responses to digital and AI advancement in social work practice and education
ยญ โSocial work ethics and professional resilience amid global crises
ยญ โSocial work responses and solutions to current socio-economic changes (miscellaneous)
It was three impressive days, full of innovative research, transformative learning, debates, feedback and networking.
