With great pleasure we invite you to the 1st edition of ICAROS Medicine Music Festival in Portugal! Our story starts many years ago when Angelo Surinder started travelling to Peru and met the great masters of medicine music from the reagion of Pisac, Sacred Valley. Inspired by our vision to bring some of music medicine magic to Europe, Angelo and Tomas co-created this beautiful event in Portugal.

On the 10th and 11th of June we will gather in a magical forest in the reagion of Azeitão, celebrating 2 days of concerts, workshops, practices and co-living together as One. Tito la Rosa is coming from Peru to be our special guest and give the blessing to our dear gathering. We will only have 300 tickets available in this first edition. Make sure you get yours and come with an open heart to light up the festival! PT

É com muito gosto que vos convidamos para a 1ª edição do ICAROS Festival Música Medicina em Portugal! A nossa história começa há muitos anos quando Angelo Surinder começou a viajar para o Peru e conheceu os grandes mestres da música medicina da região de Pisac, Vale Sagrado. Inspirados pela visão de trazer um pouco da magia da música medicinal para a Europa, Angelo e Tomas cocriaram este belo evento em Portugal. Nos dias 10 e 11 de Junho vamos reunir-nos numa floresta mágica na região de Azeitão, celebrando 2 dias de concertos, workshops, práticas e conviver juntos como Um. Tito la Rosa vem do Peru para ser o nosso convidado especial e dar a bênção ao nosso querido encontro. Teremos apenas 300 ingressos disponíveis nesta primeira edição. Certifica-te de garantir o teu e vem de coração aberto para iluminar o festival!

The lake at ICAROS is a living ecosystem, home to fish, otters, ducks, aquatic plants and many other beings that share this land with us. 🐟🦐🐝🌾🪺

To help protect this sacred place and waters, read below:

🏊 Swimming is only permitted in the designated bathing area.

🚿 Showers will be available throughout the festival.

🚫 Please do not enter the lake wearing sunscreen, oils, lotions or body sprays :: these products affect water quality and the delicate balance of the ecosystem.

💧 Drinking water will be available through:
VOA filtered and alkaline water, as well as public drinking water supply.

We encourage everyone to bring their reusable water bottle.

Every small act of care helps preserve the beauty and biodiversity of the land.

We are honored to welcome Raffa Martinez to ICAROS Festival 2026. 💙
Raffa will be part of the live concert of Maneesh de Moor maneesh de moor , together they will create a unique moment of medicine music!

A musician, percussionist and creator of transformative spaces, Raffa has spent more than fifteen years exploring the meeting point between music, art, and spirituality.

Having shared stages with artists such as Ajeet, Deva Premal & Miten, Curawaka, Sam Garrett, Peia, Nessi Gomes, Tina Malia, and many others, Raffa brings a unique fusion of devotional music, medicine songs, and heartfelt presence.

His performances are sacred gatherings where music, beauty, prayer, and connection come together, inviting us into deeper communion with ourselves, each other, and the living world.

Through his songs, floral artistry and the warmth of his presence, Raffa creates a space where the heart can open and remember.

Celebrating International Biological Diversity day✨🌿

Biodiversity is not only something we protect in nature, it is also something we honour within community.

As Robin Wall Kimmerer has said before “Sustain the ones who sustain you and the earth will last forever”. It is our responsibility to protect the living world and all species that contain it.

Different cultures, traditions, expressions, medicines, songs, stories and ways of seeing life come together here, reminding us that diversity is what keeps ecosystems and humanity alive.

At Icaros, we have always aimed at creating spaces where people from many paths can meet with respect and presence, where ancestral wisdom and the voices from the 4 corners of the world coexist. Where the forest, the arts, spirituality and human connection are not separated.

Again, Robin has said “Respect one another and there will be enough for all.”

We believe that when people reconnect with nature, they also reconnect with the understanding that we are part of one living entity, one Whole.
