What if you could map the places you found love?

That’s the question brought to Gliding Barnacles this year.

Jula has been part of the GB family for a few years now. Walking with us, listening, sketching places not as they look, but as they feel. Her hand-drawn maps weave together memories and meaning, each line a story, each mark a connection. But this year, she took it even further: painting a giant, intricate map on our black wall and inviting everyone to join in.

With 500 heart stickers and a mailbox for stories, people started pinning their moments. Waves surfed, dances shared, friendships found, loves lost. The wall became a map of us all đź«‚

Jula’s piece was a powerful reminder of what Gliding has always been about: connection, memory, and the beautiful mess of love that ties it all together. Everywhere is love. Love is everywhere.

Thank you, for sharing your love with us. And thank you Jula, for transforming all this love into beautiful art.
