Praia da Ribeira in Cascais, Portugal will host the annual Swim Challenge - Swim for the Ocean. The competitions
You can participate in several competitions, according to your age, experience and physical shape:
Official Mile (to federated swimmers)

Mile Open (to all swimmers, isothermical suit allowed, transition and finish line outside the water)

Gills or Lungs? Kids 200m and 400m (including extra competition where is allowed to be accompanied by an adult)

O Padrão dos Descobrimentos, símbolo da nossa herança marítima e ponto de partida da Travessia Lisboa–Cascais, recorda-nos que cada conquista começa com um desafio. E nas águas, como na história, é a determinação que escreve os grandes feitos.

Hoje celebramos Portugal, e todos os que o levam mais longe, dentro e fora de água.

🇬🇧 On June 10th, we celebrate Portugal Day, Camões Day, and the Day of the Portuguese Communities — a date that honors our history, culture, and Portuguese influence around the world.

The Monument to the Discoveries, a symbol of our maritime heritage and the starting point of the Lisbon–Cascais Crossing, reminds us that every achievement begins with a challenge. And in the water, as in history, it is determination that writes the greatest accomplishments.
