Europe Marathon 2026 Will Take Place On 25-26 April.
The European Marathon in Aveiro has quickly become a standout on the international race calendar. Recognized since 2023 as an Official World Athletics Road Race and holding the prestigious Road Race Label, it now ranks among the most respected marathons worldwide. Runners can choose from 42K, 21K, 10K, or 5K distances, each taking place on a fast, flat course designed for peak performance. In 2024, the men’s podium saw times under 2:10, including one of the fastest marathon finishes ever recorded on Portuguese soil. The course unfolds through the scenic heart of Aveiro, with its famed canals, Art Nouveau buildings, and vibrant street life.
