We are a social running group in Palestine. We are using sports as a tool to highlight the basic human right to freedom of movement.

We support women to be active and practice their rights. We have 9 running communities in Palestine. Right to Movement is a global running community and this is the page for the Palestine branch. Right to Movement Palestine has nine different running communities in nine different cities in Palestine. Follow us on this page to learn more about our activism. We will highlight our community growth, o

ur best stories, and our vision for using sports and running to promote positivism. We use sports as innovative and communicative way to advocate for the Palestinian cause, and continue creating a culture of acceptance for Women sports. Right to Movement has organized the Palestine Marathon for four successful years. Starting in 2017, the Palestinian Olympic Committee (www.poc.ps) took over the event. إكمال ماراثون كامل ليس بالأمر السهل أبدًا، فكيف عندما يكون تحت ظروف كهذه، حيث يصبح التحدي أكبر من مجرد المسافة نفسها.

من خلال إصرارهم، والتزامهم، وعزيمتهم، يواصل هؤلاء العدّاؤون إيصال رسالة إلى العالم: أنه حتى في أصعب الظروف، نحمل رسالة سلام، وصمود، وأمل، وحريّة.

هم يثبتون أن الشعب الفلسطيني شعب قادر، مليء بالإمكانات والطاقات التي تستطيع المنافسة على المستوى العالمي.

نفخر بهذا الإنجاز، وبكل عدّاء يواصل التقدّم رغم كل التحديات.

ألف مبارك هذا الإنجاز العظيم،
ونأمل دائمًا بفلسطين حرّة، وبحقّ الحركة والتنقّل للجميع 🇵🇸

Running a full marathon is never easy — and doing so under such conditions carries a challenge far beyond the distance itself.

Through their persistence, discipline, and determination, these runners continue to send a message to the world: that even in the hardest circumstances, we carry a message of peace, resilience, hope and peace.

They remind us that the Palestinian people are capable, talented, and full of potential that can stand and compete on the global stage.

We are proud of this achievement and of every runner who continues to move forward despite every obstacle.

ما بدأ كرؤية مشتركة بين ثلاثة أشخاص، أصبح اليوم فعالية وطنية يتبناها الآلاف، وتستمر بالنمو وفق معايير عالمية في تنظيم سباقات الماراثون.

من الخطوات الأولى وحتى آلاف العدّائين الذين يشاركون اليوم كل عام، من الملهم أن نشاهد كيف يستمر ماراثون فلسطين بالنمو متجاوزًا الحدود والتوقعات.

ما بدأ كفكرة قائمة على الحركة، والصمود، وروح المجتمع، أصبح رسالة يحملها العدّاؤون من مختلف أنحاء العالم.

نواصل الركض بإصرار، وإمكانات، وهدف — لنُظهر أن الفلسطينيين ليسوا فقط أصحاب صمود، بل أشخاص يؤمنون بالصحة، والرياضة، والتميّز.

وعندما تتوفر الفرصة، يستطيع رياضيونا أن يقفوا بكل فخر على الساحة العالمية.
كل كيلومتر يحمل قصة، وكل عدّاء يحمل الرسالة إلى الأمام.

What began as a vision shared by three people has grown into a nationally embraced event that continues to evolve in alignment with global marathon standards.

From the very first steps to the thousands who now run each year, it’s powerful to witness how the Palestine Marathon continues to grow beyond borders and expectations.

What began as an idea rooted in movement, resilience, and community has become a message carried by runners from all over the world.

We continue to run with determination, potential, and purpose — showing that Palestinians are not only resilient, but deeply committed to health, sport, and excellence.

And when given the opportunity, our athletes can stand proudly on the global stage.

Every kilometer carries a story. Every runner carries the message forward.

We’d like to invite you to a Christmas guided run through Jerusalem’s Old City with stops of interest! Suitable for all levels.

We’ll meet at Jaffa Gate at 7:30am and end our run at the Old City Hub for breakfast, coffee and something sweet!

قام فريق الحق في الحركة بمسار من تلّ القمر إلى دير مار سابا يوم السبت 22 تشرين الأول.
المسار كان بطول 8 كم وبمستوى متوسط، مع المرشدة السياحية إسبرانسا قمصية.
يوم مليء بالطبيعة والرفقة الجميلة والطاقة الحلوة. 🥾⛰️🚶‍♀️

The Right to Movement (RTM) team went on a hike from Tal Al-Qamar to Mar Saba Monastery on Saturday, November 22nd.
An 8 KM, moderate-level trail guided by Esperansa Qumsieh, filled with beautiful landscapes, great energy, and amazing company. 🥾⛰️🚶‍♂️
