We honored 100 extraordinary leaders 🌟 who are boldly transforming realities, uplifting communities, and creating lasting impact for generations to come 🙌🏾 Visionaries, changemakers, and trailblazers whose work continues to open doors and redefine what’s possible 🚀

The 100 Awards shined a light on the brilliance, resilience, and influence of Black leadership 💫—reminding us why spaces like the Diaspora Festival are essential: to celebrate our stories 📖, amplify our voices 📣, and ignite the power of our collective future 🔥

We closed a space that celebrated our history, our connections, and the living power of the diaspora. ✨🌍

From this gathering, we built bridges between cultures, ideas, and territories. Voices from different parts of the world came together to share, learn, and continue imagining possible futures for our communities.

We leave with inspiring conversations, connections that transcend borders, and the certainty that when our stories meet, new ways to transform realities are born.

This chapter comes to an end, but the journey continues.

Today we proudly recognize and celebrate three incredible women who stood out with their vision and determination: Nubia Marina García, Chamir Bonano, and Violeta Vani.

From Puerto Rico, their work reflects the strength and reach of Afro-descendant entrepreneurship, driving meaningful change within their communities.

At the Festival of the Diaspora, alongside Casa Innovation and Black Ambition, they emerged as winners of the Pitch Competition—elevating their ideas and showcasing the power of their leadership.

Today we celebrate this achievement, their dedication, and the lasting impact they continue to build from the diaspora.

From the 100 Awards at the Festival Diáspora in San Juan, everything felt connected 🌍✨

The diaspora speaks of movement, of paths crossing, of roots that remain present even far from their place of origin 🤎🌱; in addition, it shows how different experiences meet and engage from each person’s own identity.

In this space, each recognition highlighted processes, commitments, and ways of creating that come from multiple territories ✊🏾💫; therefore, beyond bringing talent together, it allowed those journeys to be seen, heard, and valued in their own voice.

It also made clear that Black excellence is not isolated, but a collective force that is built, shared, and projected 🔥🌍; in this way, what happens in one place resonates in many others.

At the Festival of the Diaspora, we wanted to create a special surprise during the FOTD100 by recognizing leaders who are part of our own team!

This recognition is not only for the work they do with the Festival of the Diaspora and Casa Innovation, but also for the leadership they demonstrate every day through their work with diasporic communities across the Americas, while also connecting with global leaders.

We celebrate every member of our team who has walked this journey with us over the years—strengthening the Festival of the Diaspora and actively contributing to the empowerment and visibility of diasporic communities.

Conversations were also at the heart of the Festival of the Diaspora. 🌴☀️

Throughout the panels, leaders, entrepreneurs, and thinkers from different parts of the world shared perspectives on leadership, economic development, culture, and the role of the diaspora in shaping change within our communities.

These sessions became spaces to exchange ideas, question realities, imagine new paths, and recognize the power that emerges when knowledge is shared. 🌊

Tonight, we will celebrate 100 outstanding diasporic leaders who, from different sectors and territories, are creating impact, building bridges across the Americas, and driving meaningful change in their communities and beyond.

Today we celebrated the power of ideas, innovation, and the excellence of our communities. ✨✊🏾

As part of the Festival of the Diaspora, we experienced one of the most inspiring moments of the gathering: the Pitch Competition, a space where the talent, creativity, and leadership of Afro-descendant women entrepreneurs truly shined.

From San Juan, we honored the Afro-Puerto Rican women winners whose ideas and initiatives are opening new opportunities, strengthening their communities, and showing that innovation is also rooted in our stories and territories. 🌍

Each project reminded us that Black excellence is not only celebrated it is built through vision, collective work, and a deep commitment to the future.

This moment reaffirms something powerful: when we invest in our ideas, we are also investing in the growth and transformation of our communities. 💫

Today we experienced the second day of the Festival of the Diaspora a day filled with powerful conversations and deep reflections. We witnessed panels where diaspora leaders shared their visions of leadership, as well as the initiatives and strategies they are advancing to drive real and transformative change in diasporic communities, not only across the Americas but around the world.🙌🏾
