Today we celebrate our volunteers, who are the core of Race Through Poland. And this is a fact that has to be highlighted!

These are people without whom our race couldn't exist. The people, who give their time, and join us to live within the race flow. People who stay behind the curtains for the greater good and the race itself. People who take care of our riders, wait for them day and night, watch their dots when all the rest is sleeping. People who listen and who are passionate about the sport. And finally, people who care, and whose help is always where it’s needed.

Not all of them are in the photos, but all of them should know, that we are extremely grateful to have them with us! Thank you!

1800 kilometers for this! To spend some time with each other. Our finish line is always something special for us, and there is always somebody waiting there.

No big prizes, no fanfares, just people who listen, admire accomplishment, and understand achievements.

This is where we build the community and its integrity. We wish that Race Through Poland will always stay this way.

When the dust was settling after Race Through Poland No. 8, a new project was already being born.Its name is Giro Dolny ...

When the dust was settling after Race Through Poland No. 8, a new project was already being born.

Its name is Giro Dolny Śląsk, a complete loop around Lower Silesia, the land where RTPL was initially born 9 years ago.

We created a 1000 km route as a tribute to the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, where the Sudety Mountains meet the flatlands, taking riders through forests, meadows, rolling hills, river valleys, and also big climbs.

We did this project quietly as a BREVET. Around 20 riders started the inaugural ride, and they are entering the final 300 kilometers as we write this.

There is no live tracking, no social media updates, no bike checks, no sponsors, no show. The stories will stay as memories, the finishers will greet each other at the line, and the personal achievement, the journey, and the adventure will be their only reward.

We wanted it this way to highlight the true reason we ride long distances.

We do it for ourselves. We stay true and fair to ourselves. We stay equal and within the integrity of our community. We don’t need to pretend to be anyone else, we don’t need to cheat anyone, and we don’t need to prove anything to anyone. We ride because we want, and we are privileged to be able to do this.

“Giro Dolny Slask” will enter its real own life and visibility in the future, but as for this moment, this route will be a symbol of our integrity.

Congratulations to all who started this adventure. For all the rest, the route is in our bio if you would like to see the scale of this project.

And that’s a wrap!
The finish line of Race Through Poland No.8 is officially closed.

were the last two riders to receive the official race stamp on their brevet cards.

There is one more rider on the race map, and he will have to self-validate his arrival in Nowy Targ.

Rainy weather hit the region hard today, so he will be the only one, we suppose, who will feel that good old-school Race Through Poland weather.

Keep a close eye on him and cheer him on! As far as we know, he is not going to give up.

We are now over and out for some time, and we will come back to you after processing all the amazing things that happened over the last 8 days!

The finishers’ party happened last night and it was just about the people. No fanfares, fireworks, or big speeches. It was simply riders spending time with each other, with more riders finishing the race in the meantime.

We had dinner and drinks together, congratulated the winners, and talked about everything that just happened and what this experience will give us for the future.

Today comes the final day of the race. The finish line will officially close at noon. Riders will have to self-validate their presence after this time.

We are waiting for a handful who are still out there. Cheer them on through the FMC tracking page (link in bio)!
