At the end, personally from Joanna Karasewicz:
At the end of ECH2020, I would like to share my emotions, reflections and give special thanks to organizers of this event.
It was the most difficult year not only in my professional life, but also in my personal life. There were moments of doubt and fear, we were overwhelmed by time pressure and the enormity of detailed tasks. The knowledge and experience that I gained during this time are invaluable to me. I am very pleased with the opinions I get from athletes, coaches and spectators who speak with one voice - the European Championship 2020 is an organizational success. However, this would not be possible without the participation of many people, whom I want to thank very much here and now.
Thanks to the President of Polish Shooting Federation, Mr. Tomasz Kwiecień for entrusting me with the function of Competition Manager. I wouldn't learn so much if it weren't for his decision. Thanks to Iwona Zuchniak, Federation’s chief accountant and employees of our Association’s office for substantive and mental support in difficult moments during the organization of the European Championships
Special praise goes to Ania Jarosińska and Paweł Porwisiak, who played the two most thankless roles - Accommodation and Transport Managers. Their work, often until late hours, struggling with many situations that required quick and effective action was invaluable.
Many thanks to all the Jury members and Range Officers, many of them sacrificed their vacation plans to work during the European Championships - without them we would not be able to run this competition. Thank you for your commitment, responsibility and any help.
I am impressed by the commitment and diligence of all volunteers, with Maria Kautzka at the forefront - everyone did great, performing each, even the most difficult tasks. Thank you with all my heart!
There are two more people who mean a lot to me in the context of the organization of the European Championship 2020 - Mateusz Pierko and Rafał Szelenbaum.
Mateusz, thank you for your knowledge, skills and creativity in solving numerous technical and organizational problems. Without you, the shooting range in Centennial Hall in Wroclaw could not have been created. Many hours of work on plans, agenda and application lists were invaluable. Thank you for your dedication, work with EST during the championship and inconceivable ability to bilocate and help in many places at the same time.
Rafał, thank you for the opportunity to consult any idea that came to my mind, regardless of the time of day or night. Thank you for taking care of the entry system and taking over contacts with ISSF, I am also grateful for your help in preparing TV streaming and broadcasting. Your perfect knowledge of ISSF rules and regulations was also very helpful to me.
The whole team from ATM Grupa SA deserved special thanks under the command of Dorota Baron - thanks to you and your commitment, experience and professionalism, our broadcasts were at the highest level and attracted many of viewers.
I am also very grateful to Natalia Król, our shooting expert in the transmission car for great commitment and preparation of the transmission at the highest level!
A lot of warm words and thanks are also due to Bohdan Micinski, who like a wizard, was able to print everything on time, in place and for sure. Coach - thank you beautiful!
I also thank the employees of Centennial Hall for millions of ideas and hints that solved our problems. Thank you very much.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the organizational success of ME.
Finally, a bit more privately: I couldn't have been involved in the organization of the European Championships without the two beloved people - my husband Adam and mother Anna. Thank you! You had endured my emotions, good and bad, for the past year, you were patient and understanding, you helped me with my household duties and you encouraged me and gave me strength to act. I love you!
