Thank you Dirk, for organising the election night, the sponsors, the judges, the volunteers, Dora for hosting, the performers, Akhnaton, Stephan, and if course YOU for showing up and being part of our little bear community!

Our goal is always to create and support places that welcome bears and friends.

Next stop: the Bear-Necessity on Saturday and the official coronation on Sunday at Bears Amsterdam

Community is about knowing you have safe spaces, events, and parties where there’s like minded people you can have fun with, share with and be safe with.

Hi, de naam is Arthur en ik ben Mr Bear Netherlands 2025. Ik ben gevraagd als jurylid voor de Mr Bear 2026 verkiezing.

Ik zoek naar iemand die de filosofie van de beren heeft, die klaar is om onze gemeenschap in z’n geheel te laten stralen. Voor mij moet een Mr Bear open zijn, relaxed zijn om voor een
groep te praten en om met onbekenden te socialiseren. Hij moet zijn doelen duidelijk kunnen voorstellen.
Veel kwaliteiten, maar ja, ik wil dat mijn sash-son de beste wordt!

Yannick Kieffer uit Luxemburg zit in de Jury voor de 2026 Mister Bear Nederland verkiezingen. Hij gelooft in bijdragen waar het écht verschil maakt. Politiek actief op lokaal, regionaal en nationaal niveau, én betrokken bij de vakbondsjongerenbeweging, werkt hij aan gelijkheid, solidariteit en sociale rechtvaardigheid voor de LGBTQIA+ gemeenschap en daarbuiten. Wat hij zoekt in een kandidaat? Openheid en een oprechte bereidheid om met de community in gesprek te gaan en haar te ondersteunen. Voor hem moet een kandidaat kunnen laten zien dat zijn motivatie verder gaat dan de titel en de sjerp en dat hij er echt toe wil doen.

Ronald Mol noemt zichzelf niet voor niets een regenboogroeptoeter. Hij stak zijn energie onder andere in de -actie, was hoofdredacteur van de Gaykrant en werkt nu aan de lancering van QueerNieuws.nl. Zelf is hij dit jaar twintig jaar uit de kast en hij weet nog té goed hoe moeilijk die tijd voor hem was. Daarom wil hij van de nieuwe Mr. Bear 2026 maar één ding écht weten: hoe gaat hij zich inzetten voor de nieuwe generatie qu**rs, of dat nu cubs, ottertjes of trans-kids zijn.

Max Groen (59, hij/hen) is een Amsterdamse BDSM-liefhebber met een flinke dosis humor. Al sinds 1999 werkt hij bij Mister B, co-host sinds 2019 de Trans Social op Darklands en werd in 2026 genomineerd voor ‘Person of the Year’. Als sadist en e-stim-geek deelt hij zijn passie graag via kleine workshops. Voor de verkiezing van Mister Bear zoekt hij een kandidaat die authentiek, nieuwsgierig en verbindend is.
