Początek Października to z jednej strony czas na podsumowanie bieżącego sezonu, a z drugiej planowanie kalendarza na rok 2024. Kiedy informowaliśmy Was o zmianie formuły JBL Triathlon Poznań 2023 obiecaliśmy, że kolejną informację o zawodach dostaniecie z większym wyprzedzeniem. Dzisiaj chcielibyśmy Was z przykrością poinformować, że w nadchodzącym roku JBL Triathlon Poznań nie zostanie zorganizowany.
Dlaczego?
Każdy kto uprawia sport, wie, że dzień wolny w treningach to okres przeznaczony na regenerację. Po niej przychodzi progres i moc, i tak chcielibyśmy pokazać naszą decyzję odnośnie braku JBL Triathlon Poznań w kalendarzu imprez triathlonowych w 2024 roku i kolejnych latach. Mijający rok jest niezwykle trudny dla całej społeczności triathlonowej w Polsce. Przyczyny są złożone i pisaliśmy już o nich przed tegorocznymi zawodami. Oczywiście są wydarzenia triathlonowe, które cały czas przyciągają rzesze kochających ten sport. Także i my będziemy takie wydarzenie organizować w 2024 roku w Sierakowie. Niestety ogólna sytuacja gospodarcza nie uległa polepszeniu. Liczba startujących zawodników i zawodniczek zmniejszyła się, a koszty organizacji zawodów znacząco wzrosły. W tym względzie nic się nie zmieniło.
W 2023 roku dzięki staraniom oraz bardzo dużemu wsparciu władz miasta Poznania, sponsorów i POSIR’u zawody w Poznaniu udało się zorganizować. Powód? Nie wyobrażaliśmy sobie, żeby nie spotkać się z Wami - naszymi zawodnikami i zawodniczkami, z którymi od ponad 10 lat konsekwentnie budujemy historię JBL Triathlon Poznań. Teraz czas na techniczną pauzę.
Wszystkim zawodnikom i zawodniczkom, którzy wspierali nas startując w zawodach chcieliśmy bardzo podziękować. Ta impreza była i będzie organizowana z myślą o Was i świetnym miejscu jakim jest Poznań, który jest kolebką polskiego triathlonu. Mamy nadzieję, że kiedy minie czas pauzy znowu staniecie na starcie JBL Triathlon Poznań ciesząc się rywalizacją.
Dziękujemy naszym sponsorom, władzom miasta Poznania, przedstawicielom POSIR’u oraz woluntariuszom. Bez nich, ich pasji i wiary w triathlon nasze wydarzenie nigdy by nie osiągnęło takiego statusu.
Za każdym razem pilne wsłuchiwaliśmy się w Wasze sugestie i uwagi. Dzięki nim mogliśmy rozwijać się i ewoluować. Decyzja o braku organizacji JBL Triathlon w kolejnych latach jest dla nas trudna. Mamy jednak nadzieję, że nasza wspólna podróż w świecie TRI będzie kontynuowana. W nadchodzącym roku widzimy się w Sierakowie , do którego już dziś serdecznie zapraszamy.

🇺🇸 The beginning of October is a time for both summarizing the current season and planning the calendar for the year 2024. When we informed you about the change in the format of JBL Triathlon Poznań 2023, we promised to provide the next update with more notice. Today, we regret to inform you that in the upcoming year, JBL Triathlon Poznań will not be organized.
Why?
Anyone who engages in sports knows that a rest day in training is a period dedicated to recovery. Progress and strength follow after this phase, and this is how we want to explain our decision regarding the absence of JBL Triathlon Poznań in the triathlon event calendar for 2024 and the following years. The past year has been exceptionally challenging for the entire triathlon community in Poland. The reasons are complex, and we have written about them before this year's event. Of course, there are triathlon events that continue to attract many who love this sport. We, too, will organize such an event in Sierakow in 2024. Unfortunately, the overall economic situation has not improved. The number of participating athletes has decreased, while the costs of organizing events have significantly risen. In this regard, nothing has changed.
In 2023, thanks to the efforts and tremendous support from the city of Poznań, sponsors, and POSIR, we were able to organize the event in Poznań. The reason? We couldn't imagine not meeting with you – our athletes, with whom we have been consistently building the history of JBL Triathlon Poznań for over 10 years. Now it's time for a technical break.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the athletes who supported us by participating in the races. This event has always been and will continue to be organized with you in mind, in the fantastic city of Poznań, which is the cradle of Polish triathlon. We hope that when the break is over, you will once again stand at the starting line of JBL Triathlon Poznań, enjoying the competition.
We also want to thank our sponsors, the city of Poznań authorities, representatives of POSIR, and volunteers. Without them, their passion, and their belief in triathlon, our event would never have achieved such status.
Each time, we have listened carefully to your suggestions and feedback. Thanks to them, we were able to grow and evolve. The decision not to organize JBL Triathlon in the coming years is a difficult one for us. However, we hope that our shared journey in the world of triathlon will continue. We look forward to seeing you in Sierakow in the upcoming year, and we warmly invite you today.
