🚍 GETTING TO THE VENUE – PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND CAR🚌

Ljubljana’s city centre is compact, so most locations are within a 5–30 minute walk. However, our venue is a bit further out, so we recommend taking a ride.
The venue is a large, modern building with a lovely café on the left side. During the conference, two floors will be accessible to the public: the ground floor and the 1st floor🙂

📍 Venue Location:
Četrtni center Golovec, Pesarska cesta 14, 1000 Ljubljana
🚪 How to enter: The entrance is located on the side of the road, in the middle of the building.

🚌 By Bus:
Line 9 – direct from the main train station, stops close to the venue
Line 5 – from the city centre, stops close to the venue
Line 13 – from the city centre, about 6 minutes walk
💶Payment:
Tap your normal payment card or use an URBANA card (€2, available at green transport machines next to bigger bus stops)
- One 90-min ride costs €1.30, and you can overstep by validating the card again.

🅿️ Parking:
If you’re coming by car, there is a large free parking area near the venue, which is open to all visitors. 🚗

Partner Spotlight: Mladi zmaji! 🐉✨

We are excited to introduce our final partner for Portal 13 – Javni zavod Mladi zmaji (Young Dragons)! 🙌
Mladi zmaji are at the heart of Ljubljana’s youth community, creating safe and inspiring spaces where young people can connect, create, and explore their talents. 💡🎨
In addition to their daily activities in youth centers, they provide volunteer opportunities, international exchanges, and support for personal development. 😀

For Portal 13th, Mladi zmaji will kindly provide their spaces for workshops, LARPs, and other activities. 🐲

Our next partner Spotlight: Climate for All!🌍

Climate for All is an international non-profit initiative that creates free, open-source board games, role-playing games, and workshops to spark climate action through play.🎲
In 2024, they were recognised by the European Commission as one of Europe’s most inspiring green education projects in the category “Learning Scenarios for Green Competences.” 🌱
Climate for All collective combines creativity, community, and learning to address sustainability challenges.

It’s more than a campaign — it’s a movement, inviting us all to imagine a better future and play our part in creating it. 🦋

We’re excited to reveal the official main venue for Portal 13:
📍 Četrtni center Golovec, Pesarska 14, Ljubljana!

Located just 3.5 km from the city center, this charming spot is nestled near the river and a tranquil park — perfect for a refreshing break between sessions. Plus, there’s a cozy café on the other side of the venue, a Lidl nearby for your coffee and food needs as well as a few restaurants! With good bus connections and only 3 min from Bit hotel (register to get access to special discount code) ☕🌿

Here’s what you can look forward to at the venue:

It's a mini-journal designed to capture our LARP adventures 🧙‍♂️ Designed by larpers for larpers, its packed with features like Custom LARP stickers, 🧩 LARP Bingo, 🏆 Hall of Fame, 📖 15 double-page spreads to record your LARPs, 🤣 LARPing Fails Checklist, ...

Starting as an idea at the training (organised by Nausika Foundation) LARP Passport is a project that enthusiasts from all across Europe pitched in. We hope to see it also at Portal 2025!😀
