Hello!
My name is Aron Takacs, leader and founder of the Hungarian Face Team and the organiser of BuDUNKpest International Basketball Cup.
I’m working on my thesis paper and I would like to gather some information from the performers of each country’s acrobatic basketball teams, concerning the origin, the past, the present and the future of acrobatic basketball. I would like to use this information, but obviously indicating the source. All completed surveys would be a huge help to the future of the sport. (My dream we will acrobatic basketball make an Olympic sport together!!)

Here are the official results of Mission 181 February (sorry)

HIGH SCHOOL CATEGORY:

Dunking Devils Akademija - 94.2
Bakros - 59.4
Leteči Medvedki - 48.4

PRO CATEGORY:

Dunking Devils - 129
Barjots Dunkers - 121.5

Scores from different competitions are not directly comparable.

Also I'd like to stress 2 important things we noticed at the competition:

1. Show music:

Make sure the music is appropriate for all kinds of audience.

2. Team clothes:

As we want to make the show as close to the real competition, we want to see whole team in team colors, as if it was a real show. It is not meant to be a recorded training.

This will be added in the rulebook in the next update.

First Edition results are in:
Detroit Pistons Extreme Team scored 116.9
Crazy Dunkers scored 107.7

is all about creating and executing a show that scores 181 or higher thus earning a score greater than the most recent World Cup champions achieved.

For comparison sake
scores were
Dunking Devils 180.7
FRSTYL Dunk USA 159.9
Face Team 119.7

There were numerous new elements which we had never seen before that were completed:
Front -in , front full out off the glass pass.
Quad rider
Barani 2x's around the back

Missed dunk deductions are costly though. A clean, solid, well executed show with fewer mistakes will be rewarded with higher scores. The learning opportunity that is continues.

The opportunity to participate in is open and available to ALL Freestyle Dunk teams in the universe & any current or former dunkers interested in becoming a judge!

Other than performing in an actual competition, there is no better way to get ready for an actual tournament than .

The dates and times of the next edition will be announced here. While this is NOT a confirmed roster, we are excited to have the Boston Celtics Dunk Team and the Milwaukee Bucks Rim Rockers on deck.

If your team wants a chance to prepare for the international standard, or you want to learn how to judge, just let us know and we'll put you in the rotation.
