We are pleased to announce Agnieszka Ceszlak at S-DISCO Days 2026 – 4th Edition.

In her presentation, “Uncharted Routes: Building a Career in a Science Field”, Agnieszka will share insights from her transition from pharmaceutical R&D to the field of in silico chemical safety assessment, highlighting the evolving role of AI, New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), and future career pathways in science.

Her work focuses on advancing non-animal testing strategies through scientific innovation, regulatory science, and collaborative knowledge development.

We look forward to welcoming participants to Gdańsk for discussions on sustainable drug discovery, emerging technologies, and the future of pharmaceutical sciences.

We are pleased to welcome Reef Aman Eddine as a speaker at S-DISCO Days 2026 — 4th Edition.

Reef is an R&D Graduate Scientist at AstraZeneca, with a strong background in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and drug discovery. She is also an alumna of the International Master’s in Sustainable Drug Discovery (S-DISCO), awarded magna cm laude.

Her research journey spans leading academic and pharmaceutical environments, including AstraZeneca, the University of Oxford, Yale University, and Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine.

Through her work, Reef combines sustainable drug discovery, green chemistry, computational methods, synthesis, and pharmacokinetic modeling to contribute to the development of future therapeutic solutions.

We are pleased to welcome Dr. hab. Weronika Hewelt-Belka as a speaker at S-DISCO Days 2026 - 4th Edition.

Dr. Hewelt-Belka is an Associate Professor at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, Gdańsk University of Technology, where she also obtained her PhD in chemical sciences.

Her research focuses on the development and application of advanced analytical methods for lipidomic analysis, particularly using high-resolution mass spectrometry and high-performance chromatography.

Through her work, she applies analytical chemistry to address important biological questions in immunology, personalized medicine, and nutrition.

We’re excited to welcome Dr. Fei Chen (Harvard University & Broad Institute) as a plenary speaker at the upcoming S-DISCO Days 2026!

Dr. Chen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology at Harvard University and a Core Faculty Member at the Broad Institute. His research focuses on developing cutting-edge technologies that bridge single-cell genomics with spatial and temporal resolution, enabling scientists to map where cells exist within tissues and understand when key transcriptional programs are activated.

His lab has pioneered widely adopted innovations such as expansion microscopy, Slide-seq, Slide-tags, and in situ genome sequencing. These advances have transformed how researchers study the fundamental principles of tissue organization during development and how these principles break down in injury and disease.
