Już dziś wystąpię podczas Gali Muzyki Jazzowej, prowadząc All Stars Fryderyk Big Band. Tym razem jako dyrygent i kompozytor. To mój pierwszy raz w tej roli, więc trzymajcie kciuki! 🙂
Na tę okazję przygotowałem wersję utworu „Diatonic Jogger”, który znajdzie się na nowym albumie Modulaire „Megalopolis”. Cieszę się, że fragment tej muzyki wybrzmi właśnie dziś, w takim kontekście.
Ten koncert ma dla mnie również wymiar osobisty. Sam miałem zaszczyt otrzymać nagrodę Fryderyk w kategorii debiut za album „Don’t Hesitate!” z Emil Miszk & The Sonic Syndicate. Płyty wydane przez Alpaka Records, którego jestem współzałożycielem, były z kolei wielokrotnie nominowane w różnych kategoriach. Tym bardziej cieszę się, że mogę współtworzyć ten wieczór także z innej perspektywy. 🙏🏻
W dużym zespole każdy detal ma znaczenie, a każda decyzja niesie konsekwencje dalej, niż słychać na pierwszy rzut ucha. 👂🏻

Tonight I’ll be performing at the Jazz Music Gala, leading the All Stars Fryderyk Big Band. This time as a conductor and composer. It’s my first time in this role, so wish me luck 🙂
For this occasion, I prepared a version of “Diatonic Jogger”, a piece that will appear on Modulaire’s new album, “Megalopolis”. I’m glad that a fragment of this music will be heard tonight, in this kind of context.
This concert also has a personal dimension for me. I had the honour of receiving a Fryderyk Award in the Debut category for the album “Don’t Hesitate!” with Emil Miszk & The Sonic Syndicate. Albums released by Alpaka Records, which I co-founded, have also been nominated many times across different categories. All the more, I’m glad to be contributing to this evening from a different perspective as well. 🙏🏻
In a large ensemble, every detail matters, and every decision carries consequences further than the ear can catch at first glance. 👂🏻
