With Umek came Recycled Loops – first release 1999 on Primevil Records via Prime Distribution, then their own Recycled Loops label through the same channel. Earresistible Musick followed – deeper, funkier, more house.
2005 – Jesus Loved You. His own label. Deeper sound, vinyl, underground, on his terms.
Cadenza. Intec. M_nus.
Releases across all three, plus remixes for Carl Cox, John Acquaviva, Paul Woolford, Nathan Fake, Shlomi Aber and more. A discography that doesn’t fit in a bio.
2007 – DJ Mag Top 100. #75.
Then – Ibiza. Eight seasons.
His Next Wave series became a home for the island’s less commercial side and its emerging artists.
Praslea. Alexandra. Dan Andrei. Binh. Nicolas Lutz. Francesco Del Garda. Onur Özer.
Rising names then. Underground icons now.
2014 – back to Slovenia.
Peace lasted about five minutes.
LuckIsOn grew from honest exchange between friends obsessed with vinyl and the dance floor. Collective turned label – first EP simply titled Luckison.
Refined taste. Too many ideas. An instinct for talent that doesn’t miss.
Three decades in, the curiosity is still there.
Wherever he’s headed next – it won’t be boring.
