- Model Parliament endeavors to educate youth about Parliament by immersing them in a challenging and rewarding political experience in the Pakistan’s model bicameral federal legislature that consists of the Senate and the National Assembly, the upper and lower houses, respectively. The idea is to inspire, empower and equip a new cadre of 'Pakistani Leaders' by inculcating within, the ideals of diplomacy, persuasion, negotiation and reconciliation through productive debate and to nurture a leadership culture on all parts and parcel of the country. Concept?
- Young Parliamentarians will represent different political parties, which will be assigned to them and topics will be revealed on event day, the order of the agenda is equivalent to the order in which the parliament topics will be discussed; this order is proposed by a Parliamentarian and voted by the Parliament. Moreover, Parliamentarians can raise motions on a given topic. These Parliamentarians are likely to present detailed and critical political analysis of local issues, and will certainly strive for devising solutions on given topics.
