I am a veteran Dota player myself and have been watching JD matches for such a long time. A lot has changed since the launch of Dota-2 and the first International. While the name joinDOTA may sound unfamiliar to players who’ve recently started following the game, the website has been a cornerstone of the game’s competitive scene, making incredible contributions from 2011 to 2020. In its 11 years, joinDOTA managed to achieve 1.5 billion+ page views, 9,000+ news posts, and 80,000+ forum threads. On YouTube, it bagged more than 80 million views with more than 70,000 videos uploaded.

Age of Empires 4 had almost 74,000 concurrent players on Steam for its opening weekend.
Relic's historical sheep-murder simulator Age of Empires 4 is currently sitting at the top of Steam's global top sellers chart, ahead of Phasmophobia (which is currently on sale), and New World (which is inexplicable to me).

Age of Empires 4 hit a peak player count of 73,928 over the weekend according to SteamDB, which is roughly the population of Dominica. To put it in a videogame perspective, that's a higher peak player count than Garry's Mod, Vermintide 2, or XCOM: Enemy Unknown. And that's not counting the people playing on Game Pass for PC. It's a lot of sheep-murder is what I'm saying.

Yes, Baby Shark, the song that the young people in your life have probably made you sick of. Close to ten billion views on YouTube, infuriatingly catchy, impossible to get out of your head once you’re thinking about it. (Sorry, by the way.) The PC version of PUBG is still safe, thankfully, but a new PUBG Mobile event means you’ve gotta suffer the children’s song even in a game rated for ages 17+.

The event, which lasts until November 11, gives Baby Shark tokens for stuff like daily logins or playing with friends. You can then spend those tokens to get a Baby Shark emote, a Baby Shark outfit, a Baby Shark frying pan skin, or the Baby Shark music.

Microsoft Flight Simulator: Game of the Year Edition is arriving on November 18th with DirectX 12 support. The free update will include five new aircraft, eight new airports, and new discovery flights and tutorials. The big addition will be DirectX 12 support for PC players.

Asobo, the developers of Microsoft Flight Simulator, already shipped an update earlier this year that included huge PC performance improvements. This new DirectX 12 update should improve things even further for certain PCs, as DirectX 12 includes better CPU utilization.

The move to DirectX 12 will also open the door to ray tracing in Microsoft Flight Simulator in the future. Effects should include better water, improved shadows, and the usual reflections we expect to see in ray-traced games. Asobo is also introducing an updated weather system and a dev mode replay system in this upcoming update.

Esports athletes from India, Pakistan and Nepal will get the opportunity to compete virtually in open qualifiers to take a shot at becoming the champion of the region.
While talking about the launch of World Esports Cup (WEC), WEC Director, Vishwalok Nath said: “We all know how intense it becomes when it comes to any India-Pakistan match and we want fans to witness this epic clash in esports as well. The World Esports Cup will also aim to connect the gamers and gaming community from the South Asian Countries in one platform which will be a first of its kind initiative.”
