Hello, Mic Check! 🎤✨

Bakit mahalaga para sa isang event host na magsagawa ng mic check with the sound system?

Mahalaga ang mic check para sa isang event host dahil ito ang “unang rehearsal” ng boses namin bago magsimula ang programa. Narito ang ilang dahilan kung bakit critical ito:

• Clarity ng boses – Tinitiyak na malinaw ang dating ng boses mo sa audience, walang sabit o mumbling effect.

• Volume balance – Nakikita kung masyadong mahina o Malakai ang tunog para mai-adjust ng sound technician.

• Feedback prevention – Naagapan ang nakakairitang “squeak” o feedback na puwedeng makasira ng mood ng event.

• Confidence boost – Kapag narinig mo na maayos ang tunog, mas relaxed at confident ka sa hosting.

• Coordination with tech team – Nagiging pagkakataon din ito para makipag-sync sa sound crew, lalo na kung may special cues o music transitions.

Kung baga, ang mic check ay hindi lang simpleng “testing, mic test” — ito ang foundation ng smooth flow ng event.

It all began with the wedding of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph and Mardz Alvarez. This wonderful couple has been among my biggest supporters in my hosting journey. At their wedding, Lou and Shawn were present — which later led me to host their celebration in Manila. And now, Renz, the brother of Mardz, continues the tradition, having also entrusted me with hosting duties. Truly, it feels like a beautiful dynasty of weddings within the Alvarez and Miro family and their circle of friends.
