It’s time to take the stage and represent your crew in the thrilling showdown.

Open to all dance crews with members aged 13 years old and above.

The competition cash prizes are as follows:

1st Prize- ₱35,000.00
2nd Prize- ₱25,000.00
3rd Prize- ₱20,000.00
Participation Incentive: ₱10,000.00

Open to all Drum and Lyre Corps with minimum of Thirty (30) and maximum of One Hundred (100) members.

Get ready to cheer, flip, and shine at the Cheerdance Competition for the 88th Dia de la Ciudad de Zamboanga!

Open to all Cheer dance/Cheerleading Teams/Pep Squads in and outside Zamboanga City.

The winners will be awarded with a Plaque and Cash Prizes as follows:

In the Open Category, First Prize - Php 70,000.00
Second Prize - Php 50,000.00, Third Prize - Php 30,000.00 and Participation Incentive of Php 15,000.00

For the High School Category, the First Prize winner will receive Php 50,000.00, Second Prize Php 30,000.00, Third Prize Php 20,000.00 and Participation Incentive of Php 10,000.00.

Interested contingents shall secure registration form at the Zamboanga Youth Development Office located at City Engineer’s Office, City Hall or by downloading the registration form:

HERMOSA PHOTO EXHIBIT: LAST 2 DAYS |The TOP 25 Hermosa Photography Contest entries remain on exhibit at the cinema area, 3F of the KCC Mall de Zamboanga in Gov. Camins until Wednesday, October 30, the day when the announcement and awarding of winners will also take place.

The awarding ceremony, set at 4pm at the exhibit site, will coincide with the announcement of winners of the Hermosa Vlogging contest 2024. The event culminates all civic activities for this year’s Zamboanga Hermosa Festival, the most anticipated and grandest festival in this part of the region.

Top 3 winners in the photography competition will receive cash prizes- P20K for the first prize, P15K for the second prize and P10K for the third prize. Non-winners will get a participation incentive fee of P5K each.

A special award will be given to the entry with the most number of heart reacts or the so-called People’s Choice Award for the photography contest. A special incentive will also be given to the entry that will be named as the Most Viewed Award in the Vlogging Competition.

Organized by the city government through the Local Youth Development Office and the City Tourism Office, the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival is an annual event that gives honor to the Nuestra Senora La Virgen del Pilar, the city’s patron saint. (details/ photos: Raffy Reyes, Jamil Dari. Roselyn Bunot)
