The activity is part of the City Governmentโs observance of Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week 2026, with the theme, โNagkakaisang Pamilya at Pamayanan Laban sa Ilegal na Droga Para sa Ligtas at Malusog na Kinabukasan.โ
More than a run, BIDA RUN 2026 is a run for a cause that aims to bring drug abuse prevention closer to families and communities through information, education, and community-based initiatives.
Proceeds will be used to provide school supplies to selected IP schools in Valencia City, Bukidnon.
The activity is supported by the City Government under the leadership of Mayor Amie G. Galario and the 10th Sangguniang Panlungsod headed by Vice Mayor Greizl Galario-Fernandez.

Registration includes a finisher medal, race bib, aid station/hydration, and post-run snacks.
A finisher shirt may also be purchased for PHP 350 until October 31, 2026.
Participants without a finisher shirt are encouraged to wear a white upper garment.
