Battle of the Bands‼️
at Valencia City, Bukidnon
Exclusive for Valencianon youth ages 15 - 30 years old.
(Exclusive for Valenciano Youth Only - OPEN TO ALL BAND in the City of Valencia)
MECHANICS:
A. The Battle of the Bands is open to seven (7) amateur groups only. “Amateur” bands refer to any band who has not signed any contract with any musical label before or during the
contest proper. This contest is on a first come, first serve basis.
B. Online registration is REQUIRED and should be done on or before JULY 15, 2022.

C. Each group will have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 7 members aged 15-30 years old,
Applicant must fill up the application form prior the competition. Any band member who has
won in a local, national, international or independent music contest designed for solo artists
and/or singers is allow to join.
D. The members of the group may be composed of all males or females, or any combination
of both. Band Members can only play in one band.
E. The band has not won (whether first, second or third place) in any NATIONAL music and/or
band contest and must be unsigned to any record labels or recording company.
F. Each band’s set (overall performance, entrance and exit of the band) must fill approximately
15 minutes but must not exceed 20 minutes. For every minute exceeding the 20-minutes limit,
the band will be penalized 5 points from their total score.

02 Sound Check / Tuning / Warm Up 5 minutes
03 Song Of Choice (2 songs) 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
G. The bands are free to their own rendition to their chosen song. Medley arrangement of songs is not allowed.
H. Songs with indecent or repulsive lyrics are not allowed
I. Band members who are performing under the influence of liquors shall result immediate disqualification.
J. all equipment’s must be provided by the participants except for the drum set which will be provided by the Organizers, Damages on the sound systems equipment during performance shall be shouldered by the band
K. Non-appearance of the band during their call/turn of performance shall be immediately and automatically disqualified.
L. No registration Fee
M. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.
