To our amazing Siquijor Island Marathon community,

After a lot of consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the Siquijor Island Marathon to September due to unforeseen logistical circumstances.

This was not a decision we made lightly. Our goal has always been to create an incredible experience for every runner, supporter, volunteer, and local partner involved. Rather than deliver anything less than the event we know this can be, we believe moving the date is the best decision for everyone involved.

The exciting news is that the marathon will now coincide with The Big S’Cool Walk, which is already scheduled for September 25. By bringing both events together, it will allow us to create an even bigger and more impactful community event experience across the island.

All current registrations will automatically transfer to the new event date, and as a thank you for your patience and understanding, all registered participants will also receive additional extras which we’ll announce soon.

If you are unable to attend the new date, refunds will absolutely be available. Please contact us at [email protected] and we will assist you.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and support as we work through this. We truly hope you’ll still join us in September for what we know will be a very special event.

A personal email with full details, timelines, and next steps will be sent to all registered participants on Monday.
