Islahanons and isla visitors flocked to Mayâ Learning Space and Kota Beach on February 21 and 22 for Salida Sa Isla during National Arts Month 2025. They gathered to watch short films from the Bamasa Film Festival.
We’re thrilled to bring everyone together to see stories from our island that showcase our natural beauty and culture, as well as the challenges we face as islanders.
We’re so grateful to everyone who joined the event, especially the students from Bantayan, Madridejos, and Santa Fe, local government representatives, teachers, and community members! We heard all about the unique experiences we have on the island, and of course, our shared dream for every Bantayanon - to improve living conditions and truly embrace our island identity.

Para isaulog ang National Arts Month 2025, nagpundok ang mga islahanon kag mga bisita para sa Salida sa Isla sa Mayâ Learning Space kag sa Kota Beach Resort pag Pebrero 21 kag Pebrero 22, para ipasalida ang mga short films gikan sa Bamasa Film Festival.
Malipayon kami nga nagkapundok ang tanan para makakita sang mga istorya gikan sa isla nga nagpakita sang pagkaabunda sang aton kinaiyahan kag kultura, kag sang realidad nga aton giatubang sara isip usa ka islahanon.
Salamat sa mga nisalmot sa aton pasalida ilabi na sa aton mga estudyante gikan sa tulo ka lungsod sang Bantayan, Madridejos, kag Santa Fe, representante sa local government, mga maestra, kag mga lain-lain nga miyembro sang aton komunidad! Nabatian naton ang mga lain-lain nga nasinati naton sa isla kag ang aton mga pangandoy para sa kada Bantayanon - ang kalamboan kag ang pagpalangga sang aton kaugalingon nga pagkatawo.
Pirmiro lang ini sa mga damo pa nga mga collaboration sa paggahin sang panahon kag lugar para sa mga islahanong sugilanon. Sa mga interesado makipagpartner, pwede kamo magsend sang message sa amon.
