Tribu Magal-Aw from Magalang Wins Grand Championship at Apung Lourdes Festival 2026 Street Dance Competition in Pescadores, Candaba, Pampanga

Candaba, Pampanga — February 8, 2026 — The streets of Pescadores, Candaba, Pampanga were alive with color, music, and energy as dancers from across the province competed in the Apung Lourdes Festival 2026 Street Dance Competition. The annual event celebrates Kapampangan culture through dynamic performances, vibrant costumes, and creative choreography.

After an exciting day of performances, the Tribu Magal-Aw from Magalang, Pampanga emerged as the grand champion, earning an outstanding average score of 96.8%. Their powerful routine, synchronized moves, and engaging storytelling captured the hearts of both judges and the crowd.

Hot on their heels was Gile Calantipe from Apalit, Pampanga, who earned the first runner-up spot with an average score of 96.5%. The Sima Cultural Dance Troupe representing Brgy. Concepcion, San Simon took second runner-up with an average score of 90.1%, impressing audiences with their traditional dance and precision.

The Apung Lourdes Festival continues to be a platform for showcasing local talent, promoting cultural pride, and strengthening community bonds.

Thank you so much po sa lahat ng nageffort, nagpagod at sumuporta po sa journey namin dito sa festival na ito.

Sa mga parents, friends, classmates, kakilalas at love ones na walang sawang sumuporta sa amin hanggang sa mismong laban, maraming salamat sa inyo.

Kay Mommy Gretchen Mutuc na walang sawang nagisponsor sa lahat, maraming salamat sa iyo miii.

Sa aming Choreographer na si Nath Simbulan at sa assistant na si Diether Guillermo super thankful po kami sa inyo na kundi dahil sa inyo walang ganto ngayun. Maraming salamat po sa inyo.

Lahat ng pagod ay may sukli basta laging tatandaan na dapat piliin palaging maging masaya at marunong makuntento sa kung anumang matanggap ninyong titulo.
