Despite of this blurry photo, a very clear victory was achieved by Team Blazing Pistons (Red) against the "never say die" team, Team Presser (White), yesterday night, Monday, August 5th.
The game started well for Team Pistons, having a huge 12 points lead up until the end of the 1st quarter.
The deficit that the Team Presser were facing even reached 17 points by the end of 2nd quarter. This became possible because of the team's effort by the Pistons, led by Mr. Malundo.
At the start of the 3rd quarter, things started to shift, little by little, in favor of the Team Presser due to Mr. Sayam's 3 pointers. He made 5 out of 6 threes in that quarter alone, plus the hassle of having 2nd chance points off rebounds. On the other hand, Pistons answered with their own version of threes, but it seems not enough to maintain their biggest lead by far.
That 3rd squad of Team Pistons got short in term of points later that quarter and also didn't able to push a harder defense against the "never say die" squad of Team Presser which ended up to a 1 point lead for team Presser at the end of the 3rd quarter.
The game became more fiercer, tiring ,but both teams did their very best during the final quarter since qualifying and ranking were both on the line. Multiple lead exchanges happened between 9 down to 7 mins of that quarter. The game became one sided at the 3 mins mark when the Pistons lead reached 10 points. Pressers tried to shot threes, yet, due to exhaustion, they didn't able the make those shots anymore. They tried multiple times, yet multiple times they also failed make those shots.
Team Blazing Pistons turned out to be the victor of this exciting game. This game solidified thier #2 ranking so far (tied with Team Hydroponic) with 2 wins and 1 loss.
