If there was something truly special about yesterday, it was witnessing two people celebrate their love and publicly proclaim it through marriage. It was the wedding of Atty.Ruwila and Sir Joshua.
What I love most about this couple is that they proved something beautiful: in this lifetime, in this vast universe, there is always someone perfectly prepared and perfectly suited for you. Everyone who attended would agree that if you are unique, if you are someone who does not fit the conventional mold, there will also be someone who is just as unique and unconventional as you.
I still remember the brideโs story about the moment she realized that Sir Joshua was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. One day, he hummed a Japanese song, and she was surprised because she knew the chorus. What amazed her even more was that Sir Joshua knew it too. Many of the guestsโand even Iโjokingly called it weird. But that little moment reminded us that love comes in many forms, and sometimes it is found in the most unexpected similarities.
Their eight years together as boyfriend and girlfriend built a strong and solid foundation that eventually led them to this beautiful commitment of marriage.
To Mr. and Mrs.Tonogbanua, thank you so much for choosing me to host your wedding reception. I am confident that everyone had fun, shared laughter, and created wonderful memories throughout the celebration.
Once again, I am truly honored to have been part of your story. Congratulations, and I cannot wait to meet little Maโam Ruwila and little Sir Joshua someday.
