United Architects of the Philippines Graduate Auxiliary (UAPGA) sympathizes with the victims of the recent tragedy in Barangay Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga wherein a 9-storey building under construction collapsed, leaving construction workers under mangled rubble. We stand in solidarity to hold accountable the involved parties and bring the issue to justice.

The organization will continue to advocate for safer and more sustainable design. We believe that more than being efficient and profitable, structures must be designed with the people in mind โ€” the occupants and the builders alike.
