Four weeks after, we still continue to advocate beyond the breakout sessions and the 4 walls of the Escaler Hall! Our passions and our ideas towards equitable healthcare have never left, in fact, they’ve grown stronger. 💪

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄. 🧵🌏✨

The Universal Health Care (UHC) Summit 2026 brought together a diverse community of students, professionals, and advocates united by one vision: 𝙖 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨.

Held on March 14, 2026, at Escaler Hall, Ateneo de Manila University, this year’s summit centered on the theme “𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙍𝙤𝙤𝙩𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝘽𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨: 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙧 𝙏𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬.” Bringing together perspectives from public health, policy, technology, management, education, and humanities, the summit highlighted the shared responsibility of all sectors in advancing universal healthcare.

Through insightful talks and interactive workshops, participants explored how bridging perspectives can contribute to a more responsive and people-centered health system. Each conversation reminded us that no single field can address health challenges alone. But together, we can create systems that truly care for all.

💡Let this be a reminder that when we come together, we create a future where universal healthcare becomes a shared reality.
