The “Palawanama” Cocktail

Inspired by the life of the simple farmers and Selvarey rum’s master blender, Francisco “Don Pancho” Fernandez, this drink that can be best described as simple, affordable and reflects the humble life of people living in the island.

The name itself is a combination of Palawan and Panama – two nations separated by bodies of water yet connected by amazing cultures and spirits of hospitality. Camote tops and Palawan honey were combined to create a unique, low-cost and sustainable syrup. The flavors of Panama and the Philippines were fused together by using Selverey white rum as the base with local favorites Manille Liqueur de Calamansi, Empire Gin and El Hombre gold. Of course, what better way than to serve it in a basket just like when going to the wet market.

45ml Selvarey White Rum
15ml El Hombre Gold
15ml Empire Gin
15ml Manille Liqueur de Calamansi
60ml Homemade Palawan Honey and Camote Tops
