The first-ever Manila Matcha Fest is happening at SM Mall of Asia from August 22 to 31, bringing together 12 of the city’s hottest matcha and hojicha spots for 10 straight days of whisked-to-order drinks, desserts, and exclusive menu drops.

Expect everything from bottled ceremonial brews to matcha mochi ice cream, hojicha cookies, banana pudding lattes, and even a “God-Tier Level 10” matcha that’s not for the faint of heart. The lineup includes crowd favorites like Chotto Matcha, Shizu Matcha Bar, The Matcha Co., Matchanese (who’s rolling out four fest-only drinks), plus more cafés and patisseries you’ve seen all over your feed.

Best part? Entrance is free. So you can sip, shop, and even join workshops like Make Your Own Mochi and Whisk Your Own Matcha or catch the three-hour Matcha Rave on August 29.

Whether you’re deep in your matcha era or just matcha-curious, this 10-day fest is proof: Manila’s matcha obsession isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
