The PICC recently welcomed members of the media for a heritage tour organized by the National Commission for Culture and the arts (NCCA) as part of its National Heritage Month initiatives.

Anchored on the theme of this year's celebration, "Roots and Horizons: Our Shared Heritage, Our Collective Future," the tour brought participants to notable historical landmarks, including the Malacanang Heritage Mansions, the University of Santo Tomas, and the newly restored PICC.

During the tour, participants experienced the significance of PICC as a National Cultural Treasure and as a setting for defining moments in Philippine history, highlighting its continued relevance as a space where heritage is preserved while new milestones continue to unfold.

A PICC Architectural Photowalk led by Patrick Kasingsing of Brutalist Pilipinas gave a select group of photographers, heritage advocates, and architecture enthusiasts an opportunity to experience the PICC not just as a venue, but as a work of art in itself.​

Participants were able to slow down, observe, and connect with the spaces in more personal ways, appreciating the PICC for art’s sake.​

By engaging with the arts and culture community, the PICC serves as a setting that inspires and a platform that values creative talent. ​

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts hosted the ROUND Festival Welcome Dinner on April 17 at the PICC Courtyard, welcoming delegates, artists, and guests to an evening of cultural exchange and fellowship.

The PICC Courtyard served as a spacious open-air venue for the gathering, providing a picturesque setting for a showcase of Philippine culture and the arts.

Held in collaboration with Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), the ROUND ASEAN Korea Music Festival brought together renowned talents from across ASEAN and Korea, highlighting the region’s diverse and evolving music communities.
